Tionna Boddie, Psy.D.
Post-Doctoral Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Tionna N. Boddie is a Post-Doctoral Clinical Psychologist who provides individual
therapy to adults and older adults. She also provides psychological testing across the
lifespan, with experience conducting evaluations for ADHD, learning disabilities,
personality and emotional functioning, diagnostic clarification, and pre-surgical
evaluations. Her clinical experience spans inpatient, outpatient, and private practice
settings, where she has worked with individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma,
stress, major life transitions, anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, and insomnia. Dr.
Boddie takes a holistic approach to care that considers the cultural, social, and individual
factors that shape each person’s experience. Her clinical interests include refugee mental
health, the intersection of culture and mental health, and the experiences of historically
underserved and minority populations.
Dr. Boddie received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern
University in South Florida. She also holds two master’s degrees, including a master’s
degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and a master’s degree in
Global Health from the Universitat de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain. She earned her
bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in International Affairs from Kennesaw State
University in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Boddie enjoys traveling and cultural immersion, which
have deepened her appreciation for the ways culture, community, and lived experiences
shape people’s perspectives and well-being. She also enjoys reading historical fiction and
nonfiction and staying physically active.
