Psychometrist

Jessica Schmid, M.A.

Jessica Schmid, MA is a Board Certified Psychometrist who supports psychologists through the careful administration of psychological and neuropsychological assessments. A Northern Virginia native, Jessica earned her Master’s degree in Psychology from Pacific University in Oregon and brings a strong clinical foundation to her work.

Jessica began her career in therapy before pivoting toward psychological testing, where she found her niche in assessment-focused care. She has extensive experience administering evaluations for ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and psychoeducational concerns across the lifespan, working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her approach is thoughtful, detail-oriented, and grounded in a deep appreciation for how assessment can clarify diagnoses and guide meaningful treatment planning.

Jessica earned her Board Certification in Psychometry in 2025. She is particularly interested in the intersection of environment and mental health and, if given the opportunity to pursue doctoral research, would explore the impact of fluorescent lighting on dissociative symptoms in individuals with anxiety disorders.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys video games and crafting, with a special love for DIY clothing and costume design. She shares her home with two cats, Lucretia and Siamun (“Sam” for short), who keep life entertaining and unpredictable.
