Dr. Samantha Ingram is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who provides psychotherapy virtually to adults. Dr. Ingram has specialized training in treating post-traumatic stress, emotion dysregulation, and in providing recovery-oriented care. She is committed to providing evidence-based care while working collaboratively with clients to help them heal, develop skills for managing distress, and create a life that feels worth living.
Dr. Ingram’s approach to therapy is person-centered, culturally-responsive, and integrative with experience providing a variety of evidence-based treatments including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness. She is also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure, which are both evidence-based treatments for post-traumatic stress. Dr. Ingram has experience treating PTSD and trauma-related disorders, adjustment disorder, emotion dysregulation/emotional disorders, anxiety, bipolar disorder, insomnia, ADHD, OCD, and depression. Dr. Ingram also has a professional interest in providing affirming therapy for individuals who identify as LGBTQ+.
Dr. Ingram received her doctorate and master’s degrees in clinical psychology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. She received her bachelor's degree in general psychology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. Dr. Ingram has experience working in a variety of settings including outpatient practices, college counseling centers, residential treatment centers, and inpatient units. She also provided care in Veterans Affairs hospitals where she served on comprehensive DBT, PTSD, and general mental health clinical teams.
In her spare time Dr. Ingram enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, going to the beach, playing board and video games, and various arts and crafts activities.
