Christina Pitz, M.A.

Doctoral Intern

Christina Pitz, M.A. is a Doctoral Intern in Clinical Psychology with experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She is dedicated to creating a safe, affirming, and non-judgmental space for all clients and has a particular passion for working with LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Christina tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, psychodynamic principles, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. Her clinical interests include psychological assessment, anxiety, depression, OCD, work/life stress, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges.

She is currently completing her doctorate at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C., where she earned her M.A. in Clinical Psychology in 2024. She holds a B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Psychology from George Mason University. Christina’s training includes experience in private practice settings working with diverse populations. Outside of her clinical work, Christina enjoys spending time outdoors, watching movies, reading, playing video and board games, and relaxing with her cat, Muna.
