Susan Sinclair, LCSW

Susan Sinclair is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked with adults, adolescents and children for over 24 years in a variety of settings. Her approach is one of collaboration with her clients and if appropriate their family. She enjoys working with clients from a variety of populations and backgrounds. Susan strives to support her clients by meeting their current needs and helping them reach their identified goals.

Susan uses various treatment modalities to address client’s needs including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma informed care and mindfulness. Her specialties include working with clients in the areas of anxiety, depression, attachment disorder, selective mutism, school refusal, learning difficulties, ADHD, emotional disorders and autism spectrum disorder. She also has experience working within a school system. 

Susan completed her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from George Mason University and her master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She obtained her Clinical License in 2004.
