Shelley Williams, Psy.D.
Dr. Shelley Williams is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Williams is a clinician who conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations and provides therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of stressors. Dr. Williams uses an integrative approach to therapy which allows her to tailor her overall therapeutic goals as well as target each individual session to meet the client’s needs at that point in time. Dr. Williams’s assessment philosophy is to conduct an in depth examination of all cognitive areas impacted by various mental health disorders. Then integrate that clinical data with the client’s background history and current life experiences and situations.
Dr. Williams received her doctorate from the American School of Professional Psychology, her second masters in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology, her first masters in Clinical Psychology from Marshall University Graduate College, and her bachelors in Biological Sciences with minors in Psychology, Chemistry, and Spanish from Marshall University. She is originally from West Virginia and enjoys celebrating special occasions with her family and mini-weekend getaways, whenever possible.
