Kaitlyn Wildeus, M.A.

Kaitlyn Wildeus is a clinical psychology doctoral intern specializing in psychotherapy and psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Areas of clinical and research interest for Kaitlyn include trauma, harm-reduction, and LGBTQIA+ health care needs. Kaitlyn utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as her primary orientation, with an emphasis in Schema Therapy. She enjoys utilizing third wave CBT approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). When appropriate, Kaitlyn will integrate her secondary orientations of Humanistic and Family Systems Therapy, including parent training. Kaitlyn has experience conducting evaluations related to Health Psychology and Risk, as well as general evaluations.

Kaitlyn has diverse private practice experience in psychotherapy and evaluation, as well as experience in residential youth services. She is comfortable working with most diagnoses, but has specific interest in mood and anxiety disorders, traumatic-stress, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and acute concerns. Crafting a validating, safe, and non-judgmental environment is at the forefront of Kaitlyn's approach to care.

When not working, Kaitlyn enjoys being in nature, the arts, and playing video/board games with loved ones. Kaitlyn received Bachelor of Science degrees from the George Mason University's Honors College in Criminology and Psychology. She received a Master of Arts degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she currently attends as a doctoral candidate.
