Jessica David, Ph.D.
Dr. Jessica David is a license eligible clinical psychologist who conducts individual adult psychotherapy for the patient to gain improved balance, manage stress, and improve their overall mental health and well-being. Dr. David’s therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic psychotherapy which creates a strong foundation for an integrative approach with patients allowing for tailored therapeutic goals to meet patients where they currently reside in their mental health journey. Dr. David’s overall mission is to create a safe and secure environment where the therapeutic relationship allows the patient to be seen and heard. Some of Dr. David’s areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, sexual assault, trauma, and women’s issues.
Dr. David received her doctorate from the George Washington University, her internship in Clinical Psychology from McGill University’s Montreal General Hospital, and her postdoctoral fellowship was completed within Harvard University’s Health Services. Dr. David earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from George Mason University. Dr. David was born and raised in Fairfax, VA.
