Ioana Montel is a Supervisee in Social Work and is currently completing her two-year post-master residency to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker under the supervision of Susan Sinclair.  Her clinical practice is focused on adults experiencing depression, anxiety, attachment injury, trauma & PTSD; family conflict; life transitions; grief, and loss. Ioana has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) since February 2021 and is currently on her way to complete her EMDR certification process. Her approach to therapy incorporates elements of attachment & polyvagal theories; ego states/internal family systems; emotionally focused therapy and adaptive memory processing.

Ioana has an MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University, MSc in Health Policy from University of London (UK) and an MSW from University of Sofia.
