Emily Claus, Psy.D.

Dr. Emily Claus is a license eligible clinical psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Claus is trained in play and individual therapy for issues ranging from stress, anxiety as well as mood disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and other behavioral disorders. She also conducts weekly social skills groups for children and adolescents who struggle with interpersonal and communication issues. Additionally, she specializes in working with clients in the LGBTQIA community. Dr. Claus uses an integrative approach to therapy incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.

Dr. Claus earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, obtaining her enroute master's degree in Clinical Psychology along the way. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University. She is originally from Pennsylvania and enjoys live music and spending time with family and friends.

She holds group therapy sessions on Mondays at 5 pm for children ages 7-11 and Tuesdays at 5 pm for adolescents 12 and up.
