Elizabeth Bailey, LPC
Elizabeth Bailey is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years in the field. She has worked in a variety of treatment settings including hospital based crisis intervention, residential treatment, a Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Groups, and outpatient individual therapy. Elizabeth is also a Board Approved Supervisor for LPC Residents.
Elizabeth utilizes interventions from several therapy approaches depending on her client’s needs and preferences including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Internal Family Systems. Her treatment philosophy is to come alongside her clients and help them live a life that is meaningful to them.
Elizabeth has training and experience working with adults of all ages who have Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Trauma, and Substance Use Disorders. She has a special interest in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and proficiency using Exposure and Response Prevention.
Elizabeth earned her master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University and her bachelors in Psychology from the University of Virginia. She enjoys hiking, home décor projects, amateur gardening and time with her dogs.
