Brittany Musaffi, Psy.D.

Dr. Brittany Musaffi is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been working with Fairfax Mental Health & Wellness since 2018. She currently lives in North Carolina and is therefore only able to see patients for therapy via telehealth. Dr. Musaffi enjoys working with children, teens and adults to help navigate and cope through the challenges of life. She has a wide variety of experience working with clients with anxiety, depression and mood disorders, autism, ADHD and other behavioral disorders. Dr. Musaffi has a special area of interest working with LGBTQ+ clients in an affirming way to celebrate your full identity. She is also a culturally responsive therapist working with individuals of diverse backgrounds and socioeconomic status. 

Dr. Musaffi uses an integrative approach to therapy which allows her to tailor treatment specifically to suit the needs of the individual. She uses a person-centered, humanistic approach, focusing on aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, family-systems, and solution-focused practices. Dr. Musaffi strives to provide a safe and accepting environment in therapy and views her work with clients as a collaborative effort. 

Dr. Musaffi obtained her doctorate from Nova Southeastern University and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Pennsylvania State University. She is originally from Long Island, New York and has also lived in South Florida and the DMV. Dr. Musaffi enjoys spending time outdoors with family, friends, and her dogs.
