Amanda Carlson, MSW

Amanda Carlson is a supervisee in social work and is currently completing her post-masters residency to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker under the supervision of Susan Sinclair.

She has experience working with adults of all ages who have received a diagnosis in Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, and/or Borderline Personality Disorder. She has also worked with individuals who are navigating substance use, recovery, family conflict, grief, and loss. She has previously worked with individuals who have received outpatient, inpatient, virtual, group, and in-home counseling services. When working with individuals Amanda integrates various aspects of CBT, DBT, acceptance, and mindfulness. She relies on a strengths-based and a trauma-informed approach in order to provide a safe and welcoming environment for her clients.

Amanda recently graduated from Columbia University's School of Social Work. She received her bachelors from Bucknell University where she double majored in Psychology and Art History.
